On offer is a 100uA DC FSD moving coil panel mounted meter movement with a DC resistance of 1000Ω, which is a 'Model 60', and is similar to those manufactured by Elliott Brothers in England.

It measures about 4.50 inches x 6.00 inches x 2.75 inches deep including the connection terminals. The meter fits through a hole of about 3.50 inches diameter and is secured by nuts on to three [3] threaded studs. The nuts are all presented and included.

The meter is fitted with a mirror to eliminate parallax errors, is scaled 0-5 on the upper scale, with subsidiary numbers at 1, 2, 3 and 4 and fifty smaller increments and 0-15 on the lower scale [in red], with subsidiary numbers at 1, 2, 3 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 and seventy-five smaller increments, as shown in the photographs.

The meter static zero operates normally and the meter operates cleanly and accurately over the whole range without any sticky points - see photographs 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 [for info]. I have listed it as used, but it is in very clean, near pristine, working condition.

These high quality meters, with a very clean and uncluttered scale plate, were used by professional users and were very popular during the 1960s. This is an ideal opportunity to obtain one of these meters as a replacement for a faulty or missing meter in existing equipment or as a meter in a home construction project.
