The lava is most likely from the Pompeii area. Cherubs Cameo is beautiful it measures 1 3/4" in width by 3/4" in length .Cameo is in good 150 year old condition.
This Antique Victorian Hand Carved Lava Cameo is a pristine wonderful treasure. The cherubs have beautifully carved period Hair style adorned with dress seen from neckline. Very artfully executed!!
All I did here is add 100+ Yr old original 16" necklace (the original brooch clasp was damaged). I added a 3" extender made of same extra beads.
