A really very nice and good working George II antique turret clock of small size with an early wrought iron frame and scrollwork terminations along with stepped feet.

Mounted on an oak frame with a, later, underslung bell. Has two weights of 42lbs and 29lbs and a very heavy seconds pendulum. The clock is of the size that would have been found in a small provincial church, stable block or local public building. For avoidance of doubt, there are no hands or dial with this item but all striking and going train components are in situ and the clock is running well and it keeps absolutley bang on time as shown on the small hand set subsidery dial and the falling of the locking lever at the hour.

A really cracking architectural piece that would look so good in a large kitchen, a hall or even your lounge if your partner is 'on side' so to speak.

Obviously it is collection only owing to its complete size and that of the two weights, pendulum etc.
