For those that don't know what these are,  These are one of many Amlogic S905x SoC based Android TV devices that are repurposed to boot EmuElec (An open source emulation suite) off of a USB or SD card.  Earlier versions of this came with a remote and would boot into Android TV.  This one does not come with a remote and the Android instance has been stripped own to basically just a boot loader that restarts until a USB drive with the appropriate software is found.  FYI:  Alot of these will show up used or open box on eBay listed with "boot loop" issues because people don't plug in the USB dongle with the SD card in it.  Also, they upgraded the thermal pad/metal plate passive cooler with an RGB active cooler.

These struggle to run N64 and PSP games.  So, those should be considered the top end of what systems these emulate.

This one does attempt to boot from the included micro SD card.  But, fails to find certain files and folders on the micro SD card and then locks up when the GUI tries to start.  The good news is based on the debugging text it looks like there are no inherent issues with the hardware itself.  I suspect the dirt cheap, no brand micro SD card is just bad.  It is included, just don't expect to get anything useful from it.

So, in short, to get this working you will need a reasonable quality micro SD card and the technical knowhow to install your own EmuElec instance on it.  Oh, and 4 x AAA battieries for the controllers.

How you get the roms is your business.  The included parts are pictured.  The original box is included as well, but is in bad shape and will ship inside a larger box.
