A really fine hardcover copy. Coward-McCann 1965; 1st US edition (7th impression) in a really fine unclipped dust jacket. Octavo, first American edition, 320pp. 8vo – approx. 8" x 10”. Black cloth boards with gilt lettering and insect to spine, gilt insect on front, top edge tinted olive. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing. Very attractive unclipped wrapper, ($4.95), free of edge-wear, still fresh and bright and fine. A very pretty collectable copy of the author's fourth book – the best-preserved copy we have seen. Excellent.
