Up for sale is this extremely Rare set of two 2006 1st Generation Maxxis Miracle Dave Mirra Signature Tires. These have the lite blue “Miracle” Logo. From all the research I’ve done the Lite Blue logo indicates these are the very rare 1st Gen. Dave Mirra Miracle Tires made. These tires have not been made for quite a while now and not sure you will find a pair of these in this condition like this anytime soon if ever.
This is the last pair of these tires that I have to sell.
One tire is a 20” x 2.10” size tire and the other is a 20” x 1.85” size tire.
The time to buy is when you see them so here’s your chance to own a set of great tires that are no longer made or if your a Dave Mirra fan. These tires are a big part of BMX history.
If you’re not familiar with the “Miracle Kid” Dave Mirra and you ride BMX you must be very young just starting out or have been under a rock. Such a shame, I was stumped and speechless the day I heard of his passing. One of the greatest BMX riders of all time. May He Rest In Peace.
I pulled these tires from a 2006 DK Dayton bike I purchased years ago and parted out. These tires were on my rider bike. I pulled these tires from my rider bike, as this is by far my favorite BMX tire ever made.
These are in good condition considering their age, as the 20” x 2.10” tire shows only some wear down the center tread, and the 20” x 1.85” tire, which was the rear tire, shows the most wear, down the center of the tread, and in one spot in particular, where the tread is worn down from what I can only assume was a massive skid on asphalt on a very hot day. It’s only on the one side of the tire and is only at that one spot on the tire. The rest of the tire has good tread. This spot in the tire was already there when I bought the bike and I rode it without any issues. I’ve posted many pics of this one area of the rear tire. The entire tread on the rear tire is not like this but just that one spot which is pictured in many of the pics posted so you can get a idea of this one spot on the rear tire.
There are a two spots on the tire where it looks like something cut into the tire but did not go through the tire just into the outter rubber. I’ve tried to capture these two spots in some of the pics provided. They do not affect the functionality of the tire as I only noticed them while taking pics of them and inspecting them to list here on eBay. See pics provided and see for yourself.
I’m sure I’m gonna kick myself for letting these go but I’m getting older and don’t ride BMX anymore like I use to so not sure I’m gonna need these anymore.
Still hard to believe these tires are 18 years old.
