Offered for sale is a beautiful antique 19th c Qi'ing dynasty Chinese embroidered silk belt purse- a wallet.
On a brick red silk material features finely embroidered Buddhist auspicious symbols.
Embroidered in finest forbidden stitches (Peking knot) and satin stitches using multi- colored silk threads.
Lined inside (see pictures).
The wallet measures 7 6/8” (19.3 cm) long x 5 2/8” (13.2 cm) wide.
Condition: GOOD ANTIQUE CONDITION OVERALL WITH SOME STAINING AND LOSS TO THE THREADS OF THE EMBROIDERY. PLEASE, CONSIDER THE VERY OLD AGE OF THE PIECE.
