Draws on surviving veterans and other European sources including 300 unpublished photos to produce a major new work on the history of the German airborne arm.

"This book represents the fruits of 10 years of researching and interviewing former officers, NCO's and rank and file soldiers, originating from Austria and Germany, who have served between 1935 and 1945 in the German parachute force under the National Socialist regimen."

This book is part of an extensive collection of WWII airplanes, figures, and books, that are now for sale, as well as US Civil War collectibles. They were collected over decades by a parent who was an 82nd Airborne Ranger. He was an avid collector, as well as a historian. Models have been stored in their original boxes in a smoke free environment.
