Description

I purchased a Guild 12 string in 1975 and I still own it today.  That is how it is when you own a Guild, you keep them forever.

About this bass:

This bass came directly from Guild to my supplier, it has never been sold retail.  It was tested by factory authorized technicians and no issues were found.  When we polished the bass we did not find any blemishes or issues with the body, this bass is in mint condition.

Here is what Guild says about the B-240EF Fretless Bass:

The Guild B-240EF is an extension of Guild's popular Archback series Bass, with a lined fretless fingerboard. Featuring mahogany back and sides combined with a solid spruce top, this short scale (30 3/4") bass offers incredible acoustic fretless tone, while the onboard Guild Fishman-designed electronics allow you to amplify your signal to connect to your favorite amplifier, PA system, or recording DAW.

This bass weighs 4.9 pounds.

FAQ, frequently asked questions

Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher?  The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair.

Who refurbishes your instruments?  All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier.

Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty?  No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty.

Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it?  All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box.  However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and  getting bumped around during shipping.

What identifies an instrument as being refurbished?  Most refurbished instruments have a small used stamp on the back of the head stock.  This is to prevent an unethical dealer from concealing the fact that the instrument was sent to a refurbisher.
