O9 GAUGE HUDSON HUNSLET 20HP 4wDM NARROW GAUGE DIESEL 10 - BODY ONLY - 7mm Scale

This is an FK3d printed item, using a fine ABS like resin and is a complete body to create an O scale miniature railway loco (7mm / foot) running on 9mm track.

This was requested by a customer who was looking to extend his O9 gauge railway loco stable, having created a local community railway similar to the 15" and 18" estate railways of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

This engine is modelled on the locos running on a number of narrow gauge lines, including the Yaxham Light Railway.

The photos are of an example of the item as you will receive it (and also with couplings, motorised chassis and track added... which are not included in the sale). These are genuine photos taken with a full frame 35mm SLR and not digital representations. 

You simply need to remove the two formers from the base and file / sand the inside of the bottom edges flat. The exhaust and bonnet are then fitted into the location holes and it is ready to paint / fit to the chassis.

It is designed to run on a KATO 11-103 or KATO 11-109 chassis (not supplied) that simply clips into the body. It also uses two standard Peco GR-102 009 couplings (not supplied) which slot neatly into the bodywork.

Bear in mind the size of these items when looking at the detail in the photos. The loco body is 59mm long, 24mm wide and 35mm high (including the wheels, but excluding the exhaust).

It will be dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class with suitable protective packaging.

O9 scale modelling is a nice alternative to the traditional narrow gauge and can be used to create a smaller, more agricultural addition to any O gauge layout.
