1920 Camphor Glass COMB w/ Floral Etched Emerald Glass Accents, A Silver Tone Brass Antique Filigree Buckle, Antique Camphor Glass OOAK Comb
I think I can safely say this is the only camphor glass rhinestone hair comb like this in the world! I bought these antique each differently etched with emerald etched glass camphor glasses, w/ green accents 20 years ago, I have never seen any like them before or after. This asymmetrical camphor glass has a leaves etched into it (looks like a crack; I guarantee it is not) ; & the 2 complimentary emerald glass end piece have daisies, leave & curlicues etched!
All I did here was permanently glue a 1930 silvered brass buckle w/o tongue on a large frosted rectangle to a 1920 camphor glass w/ emerald bar brooch w/o clasp to a vintage plastic ( to lessen weight) teeth comb, weights just over 1 ounce! Teeth are close, it will still require thick hair or a "hairdo" to wear,
Camphor glass itself is 1 3/4" long by 1 7/8" wide w/ etched emerald glass accents, comb is now nearly 3" tall & 3" wide x 1/4". .
