I am offering for sale a part set of Wincarnis Tonic, Motor & Cyclist map of England.
I have parts 1 & 2, then 5-15, so 13 maps in total.
Parts 3 & 4, which cover Devon & Cornwall are missing.

The maps are all in their original plastic covers so, presumably, they do not get wet should it rain. Because of this, the beautiful lithographic colours underneath the plastic appears muted. Section 15 was open at one end so I took it out of its wrapper to show how vibrant the colours still are. The style is very Art Nouveau!

The maps were printed by Fletcher & Son of Norwich & the copyright is by John Bartholomew & co.

All maps are in a good condition with the exception of Section 1, which is complete, but does have a creased line & a tear up the middle of the sheet which I have taken a close-up of.

I cannot exactly pin down when the maps were manufactured. I have said circa 1920’s but they could be slightly earlier or later.

Each section of map folds vertically down the middle presumably for easy storage in one’s cycle pannier whilst on the move.

A great addition for any avid map collector.

The maps will be posted in a reinforced envelope with Royal Mail 2nd class post.
Thanks for looking. 👀
