A pair of hand carved soapstone turtles which have outlined shell patterns of black, light pinks and natural tan colors with some hand coloring. Together, they weigh 1 lb 6 oz.

The two shells vary in pattern and shape, but both are carved similarly in the same size,  colors, head shape and hollowed pink stained undersides. They are roughly 5 1/2 inches long x 3 1/4 inches wide x 2 inches tall. The black one has a small 1/8" chip under the point of its tail (see last photo) which is not visible in standing position.
