Here's a six pack of thin Madagascar Ebony slices that can be used for headplates or laminates, but not for binding. Why, you ask? This particular species is very hard and dense. So much so, that I could always plan on about a 15% failure rate when bending. These slices here were milled from a particular batch of boards that I simply couldn't bend without snapping them at the waist and/or getting lumpy curves. After destroying a few of them, I got the message.

Please Note: There are random spots where the drum sander appears to have caught and dished the wood. Where this occurred, it is about 1" in length. Also, there are some small knots towards the end of a few of them (please see photos) and one of them has a section of jagged edge. If you are using these for headplate laminates, you should be able to work around these areas. If you are looking for longer sections, these may not be the best choice.

Approximate Dimensions

27.75" L x 3.00" W x 0.065" T (average thickness)

Please Note: I can only ship to the 48 Continental United States, and only to the registered address of the buyer. I will not entertain any work-around scenarios, such as shipping to an alternate address, etc.
No international buyers, please.

If you have any questions about these sets, please ask before you proceed with a purchase. As a builder myself, I know how important it is to get the right materials for your project. I would rather not sell an item, than end up with an unhappy customer.

Thanks!
