It is in good working order. When you wind the key his head turns side to side. When you put him down on the table he walks he drums and turns his head side to side. The smirk on his face runs the gamut from innocent and adorable too I’ve got something up my sleeve. He looks a little sinister to me. very good expression on this piece.
