This uncirculated 10 Egyptian piaster note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Egyptian Government. It is a gray-olive and orange note that is dated 1940, bears the signature of Dr. Mahmoud Salah Hamed, and measures 96 mm x 58 mm. Its obverse side features an ancient bust of Nefertiti. Its reverse side shows the “Arab Republic of Egypt” in Arabic and English. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of the mask of King Tutankhamun’s mummy.
