Classic example of early 1900s traditional French Pate de verre, the artist mixed crushed glass. These antique French Pate De verre amethyst cameos deserve to be set in diamonds! I have seen large French Pate de verre amethyst cameos set in diamonds sell for $16,000.
Tiny Cameo is only 3/4" tall Permanently glued in is 2 1/3" tall X 1 1/3" Bowl of Vintage Cuevee Silver Warranted Sugar Spoon.
All I did here was permanently glue foiled 1910 ANTIQUE unused amethyst glass cameo into silver plated Sugar Spoon made into a pendant. These cameos are beautiful, rare & great.
