OFFERING ORIGINAL ART NOUVEAU PRINTS & LITHOGRAPHS FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION AT LESS THAN DEALER COST

Subject: The Ink Market or “Encre L. Marquet” by Eugene Grasset (1845-1917). A redhead, hair flying in the wind, leans on a harp with her elbow, papers in hand, pen & ink ready. From Les Affiches Illustrees, 1896, printed by Jules Cheret, Imprimerie Chaix.

These miniature posters, including those of some Maitres de l’Affiches, were available by subscription from 1886-1895, making it easier for the populace to collect the popular posters. The first edition was limited to 525 copies, so this is quite rare.

Size: 8-3/4 x 12-1/4 inches

Condition: Very good. General age toning, bottom right corner has bend, left margin shows evidence of being bound as they would have been.

Shipping will be Priority Mail at the one-pound rate. Inquire about International rates before bidding.
