This is a clear glass cuffed jockey boot (no spur), unknown English maker.  The heel has three horizontal ridges around the back.  The front and cuff are stippled.  The heel and sole are hollow.  Circa 1890. This item is THE shoe presented in Photo 253 in Shoes of Glass 2. 

The boot measures approx. 4 in. long x 3-1/8 in. tall.  It is in fine condition, with no chips nor cracks.
