1910 Amethyst Glass Cameo Head Full Curls w/ Jewelry in Open Work Floral Brass Brooch Pendant Necklace Cameo OOAK One of a Kind! A Beauty.
Cameo is a Classic example of early 1900s traditional French Pate de verre, the artist mixed crushed glass. These antique French Pate De verre amethyst cameos deserve to be set in diamonds! I have seen large French Pate de verre amethyst cameos set in diamonds sell for $16,000. However, This is a tiny foiled cameo. I set on a back & in a antique Brooch to which I added a bail & brass tone necklace. This cameo and brooch are more than 100 years old. Cameo is not new, it has little insignificant flea bites here & there. Please zoom pics. These cameos are beautiful, rare & great.
