Vintage Columbia Oil Can
Large oil can with a patriotic design. This is amazing large vintage Columbia oil can complete with spout, cap, wooden handle and paper label. The can is empty. This is a large can measuring 16" tall. The label is in good condition. There is some fading but still lots of nice patriotic coloring left in it. The can has a painted red stripe on the top and the bottom. There is some writing on the can in cursive script on either side of the label. It is old handwriting and I can't make out what it says. There is a little rust on the bottom of the can. Overall, a really nice, hard to find oil can that has been well preserved in a New England barn.
Measurements:
16" tall to spout, base is 10.5" in diameter
Condition: Good, pre-owned, vintage condition. Due to its age and use, this can has some spots of rust, and scratches. But, the label is in good condition. The red paint stripe has faded and worn off in places but there is still enough left to add a nice detail to this can. See photos and description above.
