2014 For Valour: A History of The Victoria Cross $10 Antique Copper Coin

The Victoria Cross is the highest military award for bravery that can be bestowed upon members of the British & Commonwealth forces. Just one hundred Australians have been decorated with the VC since it was instituted by Queen Victoria in 1856. 

This coin was struck by Royal Australian Mint, presented in antique finish, the reverse design features a likeness of the Victoria Cross medal for Australia, and the names of the one hundred recipients of the honour. The obverse of the coin features an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley. Inferior box.
