Mint-/Ex++ cosmetics and great working, wonderful vintage Philips European accent sound for singing or for any redbook music CDs.

A family member bought it during the vintage time and did not use it much, so it is still in very low mileage condition. The output sound is very vivid and somewhat analog-like.

Technically, it is the upgraded version of the CD100, the world's first CD player from Philips. I would consider it the best Philips sound. It is very musical and is hard to find in the Japanese high-end CD players.

As seen in the photo, this high-end CD player is in an all-metal aluminum chassis, very hefty for its size. It has the very sought-after all-metal audiophile grade Philips CDM swing arm Laser pickup head and a pair of the Philips TDA1540 DAC chips for 16-bit resolution output.

I played this CD player for several evenings and liked it for its characters and unique sound. Tested working. If you are looking for a 40-year-old Philips CD player, an unique item in great condition, then this is, one do not miss.
