Rare Antique Ornate Repousse Silver Decorative Victorian Era  Sewing Needle Case

Chain / Chatelain Clip on the top of the piece. Carnelian ball below the case.

The entire piece is 6 1/2" long. Vase itself is 2" long and 5/8" wide at the widest when closed

Pull downward on the ball and the case comes out of the silver shaped vase for access to the needles. Pull up on the chain on top of the vase to reinsert the case.

Lovely repousse floral/lotus  motif. Old patina. Some tarnish on sides.
