The bronze maiden, in a contrapposto position, is found pushing away her flowing locks from her delicate face, as she pulls the enchanted beholder to stare and stare at her. There is something magnetic in the timelessness of this classic beauty. Her short curly hair falls forever seemingly overwhelming her petite figure. The fine skills of the sheer fabric that barely covers her and the details found in her hair is remarkable and evidence of the artist's craftsmanship. She was cast using the ancient method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for preservation. She enchants upon a black marble base with the artist J.Cassaigne signature.
