MR. ORVAL FAUBUS WAS THE GOVERNOR OF ARKANSAS IN 1955 AND HE PURCHASED THIS CAR NEW IN HOTSPRINGS, ARKANSAS IN EARLY 1960. HE THEN OWNED THE CAR UNTILL 1963 AND TRADED IT BACK IN THE A. D. SHORT MOTORS CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP WHERE THE SECOND OWNER, MS. PHYLLIS LOOPER BOUGHT THE CAR FROM  A. D. SHORT MOTORS CHEVROLET IN HOTSPRINGS, AK. ON JULY 12TH, 1963 FOR A $1,304.88 LIEN. PAID OFF ON JUNE 8TH 1965. THE TITLE IS STILL THAT AK. TITLE FROM 1963, FREE AND CLEAR.

NOW ON THE CAR, TO START, PLEASE STOP RIGHT HERE, YES I KNOW... THIS '60 CONVERTIBLE IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART, AS IT NEEDS FULL RESTORATION, OR MAKE A PATINA CLASSIC DRIVER! IT IS A FACTORY ORIGINAL CAR, IT HAS PATINA PAINT AREAS EVERYWHERE, MANY DENT DAMAGE RE-PAINTS FROM MINOR BUMPS AND BRUISES BUT IT SURVIVED WITHJ NO MAJOR ACCIDENTS. THE FRAME IS SOLID AND THE CONVERTIBLE TUB AND WHEEL HOUSES ARE SOILD AND IT IS VERY SAVEABLE DUE TO LOW MILES DRIVEN, SAVING THE CRITICAL AREAS!.
