Unlike SONY 'system' speakers these were designed and made in the UK as very capable Hi-Fi components in their own right.
In super condition, these solidly built and well regarded budget speakers perform beyond their dimensions and other speakers of a similar cost at the time of manufacture in 1995. With an impressive dynamic performance today they would make a good addition to a separates system and as they are magnetically screened can also be placed in an AV set-up.
Please note: Cabinet flaws are two small holes towards the back of the top and bottom of each cabinet where they were previously wall mounted. On the up-side this meant they were away from any further surface damage and remain virtually unscathed since they were new. Also there is a hairline crack around a screw fixing on one of the tweeter surrounds which can be seen in the photo gallery. The drivers and grilles are 100%.
