Definition of lignite. : a usually brownish black coal intermediate between peat and bituminous coal especially : one in which the texture of the original wood is distinct. — called also brown coal.Beads & cameo are handmade 140+ years ago. They are not new mint, but with small irregularities. All I did here is add 180 year old cameo to 180 years old Lignite beaded necklace.As the Lignite beads are so large, I cut & sanded thick pendant converter to be able to squeeze it over the beads. As beads are substantial I also added Scotch Tape to back of pendant to keep it from rocking forward. See last 2 pictures. This beautiful full forward face profile Antique Pressed Horn Cameo Brooch.
