WESTERN ART

Hand Crafted Wood Plaque

COWBOY on his HORSE

"SWEET CLEAN AIR FROM EAST TO WEST
AND ROOM TO GO AND COME
I LOVED MY FELLOW MAN THE BEST
WHEN HE WAS SCATTERED SOME"

Bring a bit of western flair into your home or barn with this plaque featuring a cowboy riding his horse with mountains in the background. This scene and the above words are simply done in white paint.  The verse is part of a poem called The Old Cow Man by Badger Clark.  This poem was also made into a song sung by Don Edwards in 1997.

This wood plaque, filled with western charm, measures approximately 11 1/2" x 9 1/2" and is 3/4" thick.  Rough beveled edges.  Wood is probably pine.  Glossy varnish-type finish. It has a little hook on the back for easy hanging.

Good but definitely used condition.  Damage on the letter "r" in the word "from".  It looks indented.  There is a rough knot in the wood there so that could have caused the problem.  Some wear and spots on the finish.  Several small dings.  These are not showing up that well in the photos.  Natural imperfections.
