This is the latest Venom Reserve from Invicta. The large heavily contoured unidirectional bezel and beautifully domed crystal from the gen 1 has been retained. Being a “Reserve” level timepiece ensures exceptional fit and finish and these models do not disappoint.

A more subtle rear curvature of the casework has been included in this model to better fit a wider variance of wrist sizes.. Model 46165 has the jet black dial which puts on display three sub dials which support chronograph functions of the highly regarded Swiss Made Ronda Z60 quartz engine. Sub dials support chronograph functions of elapsed seconds, accumulated minutes and a retrograde day of the week.

Five minute indices sit on a deep dished outer chapter ring finished in jet black. Round indices are finished in white lume, outlined in steel blue. Hour and minute hands are skeletonised, finished in white lume and outlined in light blue. The main sweep seconds hand is finished in light blue. A date window can be found at 4 o’clock position.

The bezel is made from 27 individual pieces with dive indices in steel blue being machined on to individual indice blocks finished in black. Concave curves exist between the 10 minute indices and supply a stunning three dimensional grip ring for ease of rotational dive time settings.

A 12mm dia screw down crown crown sits in the 3 o'clock position flanked by screw down chronograph pushers. The soft silicone and rubber strap presents as three dimensional with a 23mm long stainless steel shoulder accent extending from the casework downward towards the buckle. The supple strap is 8mm thick at the case and has various curved profiles in and around the silver shoulder accent. A large silver stainless buckle engraved with the Invicta Logo completes the design.

The Venom has a water resistance rating of up too 1000 metres. It is not often you will find a timepiece having such a nautical intent and never for the asking price of these pieces. Watch is new with tag and plastics attached. Comes with paperwork in an Invicta Presentation Case. Will be sent free via Express Post within the land of Oz.

I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed.

Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advice is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers.

If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige.
