LONG SEWING 13" Chatelaine Floral Cherub Belt Clip Gilt Sheath Scissors, Thimble in Bucket, Tape Measure, Pin Cushion, 2 Scalloped Focals. This set is Gilt Plated (golden top) brass of e origin 150 years ago. It is in great shape for its age.  DOUBLE SIDED APPENDAGES.

Also used as a woman's keychain 19th century to show the status of women in a household. The woman with the keys to all the many desks, drawers, cabinets was "the woman of the household", [as a matter of prestige].

Shiny golden one sided chains are all about 6 " long with push clasps on each.
All I did here is replace missing scissors w/ worn Gold Plated Handled Tiny Scissors for sheath. Everything else is original. This set is not new, it is not mint. It is from late 1800s. It is in great shape considering. See each appendage description below I do not wish to sell set separately.
1. Huge 3 1/2" x 3 " Scalloped 2 layer Belt Clip pieced w/ scalloped floral fans holding internal square focal of Lady & Cherub.
2. 1 1/2" suspended below is a second smaller 1 1/2" square floral of Lady & Cherub.
3. Left side 4 chain links down is 1/3" Circular pin Cushion floral brass in great shape. I replaced fabric pin cushion & added
pins & needles.
4. Padded sheath hold 3 1/2" unmarked gold plated handle sharp scissors.
5. unmarked gold plated Thimble in Padded bucket 1" x 1 ".
6. 48" cloth one sided tape measure. I added tape measure. It is manual. You wind, lefty loosy, righty tighty.
Beautiful large Chatelaine; please zoom pictures. All the same pattern throughout. 13" x 5".
