Fully restored early 1990's Raleigh Marauder MTB.

I've stripped the bike completely down to the frame, removed the decals, sanded and polished the original metallic dark purple paintwork, which has come up amazing. The original decals were a multi-coloured affair, so I've kept the same theme (albeit a bit more modern looking) and designed new vinyl decals in contrasting yellow and cyan, which look amazing against the metallic purple frame.

I've also sanded and polished the original, fork and stem and added a new riser handlebar for a more comfortable riding position.

I wanted to keep the bike as original as possible but with a modern twist so all parts have been fully refurbished and polished, though I've got rid of the front derailleur and shifter, and have turned the crankset to a 1x.

Unfortunately, the original wheels were in a bad way and despite my best efforts were beyond repair, so I've replaced them with BRAND NEW period correct Raleigh Tru-Build wheelset and BRAND NEW 6 speed cassette.

I've fitted all new brake and gear cables and new contrasting red cable outers.

The finished bike is immaculate and would make a fantastic gravel bike or urban commuter.

The size is 21 inch in MTB sizing and 56cm in road sizing, so LARGE.
