This sale is for the GASKET only - the speedo is in the photo for illustrative purposes only.

This hard to obtain rubber gasket is suitable for the smaller Smiths speedometer as fitted to the BSA Bantam, C15 and B40 as well as many other makes including Triumph, Norton and AJS.  It will help to maintain the original appearance as well as keeping the headlamp more weatherproof if you are caught out riding when it rains.  The seal fits between the speedometer and the headlamp shell - see photograph.  The original BSA part number for this gasket is 90-9377.  The gasket is made from EPDM which is more durable for outside use and is UK made.

The main properties of EPDM (ethylene propylene diene Monomer (M-class) rubber) are its outstanding heat, ozone and weather resistance.  The resistance to polar substances and steam are also good.  It has excellent electrical insulating properties.

The dimensions are 67mm o/d, 60mm i/d with a thickness of 3mm.
