Introducing the Oak Astro OA Seestar OA-S50-AFH© (Advanced Filter Holder). For many Seestar owners wanting to use their own filters there was always a risk, a need to be around to make sure that you remove your filter holder from the Seestar, that shutting it down and forgetting the filter holder or dew shield was on may result in damage to the Seestar or your precious filter.

The S50-AFH is our solution to this problem. Using our old friend 'gravity' the OA-S50-AFH will swing the filter holder assembly out and away from the Seestar when it shuts down, be that whether you're shutting it down, the Seestar has run out of power, or there's been a software issue that's caused the Seestar to park.

The OA-S50-AFH is also easy to flip up and out of the imaging train while imaging if you want to take some unfiltered (the Seestars selected internal filter will still be in place) exposures.

We've also made sure that the OA-S50-AFH is compatible with the existing OA Optical Accessory kit, yes your existing OA dew shield will fit.
