Antique Wooden Concertina Sewing Box in nice wood (could be from beginning of the 20th century but may be older)
This small box is in a different category from the standard similar boxes you may find as the top displays elements of marquetry (inlaid wood), the base is nicely slanted, the frame is made of metal and the whole is varnished in an elegant warm wood colour.
High level of workmanship, a true little jewel!
In excellent condition given the age with a few marks and scuffs here and there
Approximate Measures (undeployed): 21.5cm long, 11cm wide, 10cm tall
