STEPS TO MAKE MOROCCAN CERAMIC :
1. Sourcing the clay
Getting
Clay, in its solid form, carries minerals and weathered rocks. The
rocks broke down to be transformed to powdered clay. (Fes is known with
the best clay quality)
2. Wedging the clay
Then
mixing the clay with water to get a wet clay, then starting the wedging
process, using techniques of mixing and rolling out clay, using feet to
make the clay consistent and air bubble free.
3. Forming and shaping the clay
On
a potter’s wheel, the clay is then turned into desired shape, through
skilled artisan hands, the clay is molded to perfection.
4. Firing the clay
Letting
clay to dry for a few days in a natural way before being fired using a
kiln, to change the clay’s structure into ceramic material.
5. Glazing the clay
Glaze
is a mixture of clay, ground glass, natural coloring materials, and
water. then applied to each piece by a combination of dipping, brushing,
pouring, spraying techniques

a high precision of Artisan Each piece hand-painted, using multiple
glazes to achieve the exact color and effect desired by you.
7. Final Fire
To seal everything in and fuse the clay structure to the glaze we fired the pieces one last time.
