Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan and the Leopard Woman, the 1946 Kurt Neumann jungle action adventure thriller ("SWORN to bring back Tarzan's body for fiendish jungle ritual!"; "Her eyes promise love... her lips sneer death!"; "Original story and Screen Play by Carroll Young"; "Based on characters created by Edgar Rice Burroughs") starring Johnny Weissmuller (in the title role as Tarzan; the 1924 Olympic swimming champion who is best remembered for playing Jungle Jim and for his role in this series), Brenda Joyce (as Jane), Johnny Sheffield (as Boy), Acquanetta (in the title role as the Leopard Woman), Edgar Barrier, and Dennis Hoey. Note that Maureen O'Sullivan tired of playing Jane in the Tarzan movies, and in 1943, two Tarzan movies were made with no Jane at all, and in 1945, she was replaced by Brenda Joyce, who played the role in five movies.
