This must have been a very popular book - the Preface shows that this is the thirty-second edition - 1867.  The coolest part about this volume I think are the interesting black and white illustrations - geological formations, glaciers, paleontology (plants, fossils, weird looking animals, etc).  Part III also looks interesting - 'Bearings of Geology Upon Religion'.  Part IV has some info on mining and commercial uses of some rocks and minerals.

Good condition overall, but not excellent.  Has name inscribed on first blank page - otherwise no interior markings.  No torn or bent pages.  No library markings.  Binding sound.  There are a small number of pages with some brown spots - the vast majority of text and illustrations clean and clear.  Covers and spine decent, but do have some wear.  See photos please.
