A Rare One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Decoration consisting of a Spread Wing Eagle, Federal Shield, Arrow, Olive Branch,  and American Flag and Star Decorations, Stamped "WM E WARNER / WEST TROY", New York State origin, circa 1850, Decorated with a slip-trailed design of a Spread Wing Eagle, Federal shield breast plate, Talons grasping arrows and olive branch, American flags below, and star decorations.  A highly unusual design for this maker.
