Pokemon bank has been preinstalled before the eShop closed down. It was originally free to download to transfer Pokemon from the 3DS titles to Pokemon Home. The account associated with the previously purchased titles has been removed. This is to ensure protection of the previous owners privacy.

The Pokemon Company also announced that the transfer service will drop the yearly fee on March 27th. This will make the service entirely free to transfer Pokemon.

You can easily add your current Nintendo network ID to this system but please keep in mind the notes below.

Some users have reported issues logging into their account when they need to unlink another console from their account. If you're interested in purchasing this console please make note of these important things.

1: You never had a 3DS linked to your current Nintendo account.

2: If you did own another console you made sure you unlinked it before getting rid of it.

3: Do not use a system transfer to trade your account details over. YOU WILL LOSE ALL SOFTWARE DOWNLOADED TO THIS CONSOLE
