Gibson Acoustic's popular small body L-00 standard latest model!

The first flat-top model from Gibson, which had produced archtop guitars, banjos, and mandolins, was released in 1926 (L-0/L-1).

L-0 and L-1 were small bodies without pickguards. Later, around 1931, the L-00 was born as a successor to the L-1.

At first it was an ebony color, but later sunburst and natural colors were added to the lineup.

From around this time, pickguards became standard equipment on Gibson flat top guitars.

L-00, which is popular as a small body, was added to the lineup as a core model in 2016, and this model is the latest model!

Made in Montana, USA.

The BODY is of course made entirely of veneer, with the top made of Sitka spruce and the SIDE/BACK made of mahogany.

BODY binding has been applied to both the TOP and BACK since around 1937, and this model also has the same binding.

The NECK grip is not vintage, but has a slim taper, making it easy to hold.

The pegs are GROVER mini rotomatic pegs.

The bridge is rectangular, the nut and saddle are made of Tusq, and the nut is black.

I'm glad that the NECK heel has a strap pin by default♪

The Pick Up is equipped with L.R.BAGGS' Element VTC, and Volume/Tone control is possible at the edge of the sound hole. Built-in unique low frequency compressor (LFC) produces dynamic sound! !

The small body has a good response and a unique box sound.
