Hornby R3709 Class 8P Princess Royal 4-6-2 6201 "Princess Elizabeth" in LMS crimson lake

THE ‘PRINCESS ROYAL’ 4-6-2s were Stanier’s first ‘Pacifics’ for the London, Midland & Scottish Railway. It was 1933 when the first entered service paving the way for a class of 12 locomotives which became the forerunners to Stanier’s outstanding ‘Princess Coronation’ class of 1937.
