Up for sale is a neat 1889 Peru Un Sol with 1894 Guatemala 1/2 Real counterstamp.

 

The obverse shows REPUBLICA PERUANA LIMA 9 DECIMOS FINO T. F.

The reverse shows FIRME Y FELIZ POR LA UNION, LIBERTAD, UN SOL

 

The "host coin" (a Peru 1 Sol) is .900 silver, weighs 25g and measures 37mm in diameter.  In the center of each side of the coin is a REPUBLICA DE GUATEMALA 1/2 REAL 0.835 1894 Guatemala counterstamp.

 

Please judge condition of item based on photographs.  The front and back has toning - a neat vintage coin.
