Vintage Arcade Game Space Invaders MB14241 New Shifter Replacement Board
Some of the original Taito/Midway SI style boards have a Fujitsu MB14241 shifter chip to help move the graphics around, these days a lot of them have rotting legs or are faulty. Replacements are fairly difficult to find so whilst I know there are reproductions boards using a number of TTL chips this is a reproduction using a CPLD which is only just slightly bigger than the original chip and just plugs into the socket on the game board. Photos show the replacement that you will receive, and it installed on a Space Invaders game board.
