Description

About this guitar:
This guitar came directly from Gretsch to my supplier, it has never been sold retail.  The protective covers are still on the pick guard and the backs of the tuners.  The guitar was inspected and tested by a factory authorized technician.  All electronics are working as designed, the neck is straight and the set up is to factory specs.  When we polished the guitar we found a very light, small finish blemish on the back.  It is too light to show in a picture, you can only see it if you are holding the guitar with the light shining at an angle.

Here is what Gretsch says about the G5022CWFE Rancher Falcon:

Gretsch Rancher acoustics are back and better than ever! The G5022CWFE Rancher Falcon Jumbo gives you a full-bodied jumbo tone with full-on Gretsch Falcon style, sparkling gilded appointments, and onboard electronics for peerless amplified tone.

Its jumbo cutaway body includes dazzling gold-sparkle binding on the top, back, sound hole, fingerboard, and headstock. Other premium features include a solid spruce top with scalloped "X"-bracing and classic Rancher triangular sound hole, maple sides and arched back, mahogany neck, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, "V"-shaped headstock with vertical winged "Gretsch" sparkle logo, compensated bridge with rosewood base, deluxe tuners and gold-plated hardware.

FAQ, frequently asked questions

Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher?  The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair.

Who refurbishes your instruments?  All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier.

Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty?  No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty.

Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it?  All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box.  However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and  getting bumped around during shipping.  Also some players like to set up a new bass to their own personal preferences.

What identifies an instrument as being refurbished?  Most refurbished instruments have a small used stamp on the back of the head stock and are issued a new serial number.  This is to prevent an unethical dealer from concealing the fact that the instrument was sent to a refurbisher.
