The VN-722PC Olympus Digital Recorder offers plenty of recording time packing 4GB of internal memory that can be boosted up to 32GB via a microSD card (not included). Recordings are saved as MP3s so there is no need to convert the files for playback. The sound quality is pretty clear and the battery life is long.

The recorder has a fairly sizeable LED screen which makes it easy to see the menus, and there is also a pull out stand at the back that can elevate the recorder at an angle that makes the display easily viewable, the buttons within reach, or the recorder can be pointed in the angled position to a specific direction for better results.

The Olympus Recorder also comes with a compact portable USB cable which allows for a simple connection to the computer for downloading and saving recordings to a computer.
