Small Pair of Foreign/Japanese Satsuma Ware Ginger Jars (no lids) 5.5cms

Nice little hand painted pair of vases but more probably mini ginger jars which have lost their lids over the years. Stand just 55m high. I suspect Japanese as marker ‘Foreign’. They are a little dull when I tap them but no obvious cracks.
