A crisp, cold beer after a long day of work is a joy universally enjoyed, as seen in this charming 1950 poster for Biere Mosellane. A farmer, office worker, painter and mechanic all share a cheers with a pint of the French brand of beer. It is a charming image, perfect for the entertaining areas of the home and office.

The Moselle River runs through the Vosges Mountains region of France, and defines a specific region that surrounds its banks. It connects Germany, France, and Luxembourg and eventually feeds into the Rhine. The region is known for its agricultural bounty of wine (and less popularly, beer), ancient castles, excellent cycling routes, and visual beauty.

Unfortunately, not much is known about the artist Edouard Bollaert other than another image he created for this same brewery around the same time.
