Manlay Sound is an all-handmade pedal maker with the utmost care and attention to detail, created by Roman Gil, himself a guitarist/musician active in Spain.
Mr. Roman always pursues quality that satisfies him by hand-selecting parts such as rare transistors and repeating tests to ensure the optimal sound.

This is a Red Face model equipped with silicon transistors.
The face-like paint on the Red Hammer housing will appeal to pedal fans. The brand name on the smiling face is also an adorable touch.

The silicone version features a pleasant low-end bulge and a crunchy treble.
It drives in a distortion-like manner, so it is relatively easy to use even for those who are not used to fuzz.
It's great that it's a vintage clone pedal with a lot of attention to detail, but it's priced relatively easily.
