The Women’s Vapour V is a performance rock shoe built around a women’s specific fit last and packed with Scarpa’s innovative technical features.

The Vapour V is a performance rock shoe built around the women’s specific low volume FRW last, with a slightly asymmetrical, slightly down turned shape and a medium to low angled toe box to strike a balance between confident smearing and refined toe power. The new microfibre upper and the new tongue marry perfectly with the redesigned Velcro straps for an instantly comfortable fit and secure heel hold. A full-length Talyn midsole works with the Bi-tension rand system to offer the optimum level of support. Vibram Grip2 rubber gives optimum friction.

• New heel construction in microfibre reduces weight and dramatically enhances “next to skin” comfort in the Achilles area.
• New heel rand construction provides a more stable and higher friction zone for enhanced performance on more loaded heel hooks.
• Revised toe rand, provides improved comfort and toe hook protection.
• Revised tongue construction is lighter, more breathable and retains its shape and positioning through the additional elastic in the closure.

Bi-Tension

Basically, a reverse slingshot rand that's anchored under the critical toe area and connects directly to the heel rand, only there's nothing basic about it.  The patent-pending system actively pulls power from the toes, rather than cramming your toes painfully forward, giving immediate performance with less tension.  And that means less rubber, making your shoes lighter, more sensitive and more reactive.

Resoling

Scarpa shoes and boots are built to the highest standard and should serve you for many years of use. However, just like tyres on a car, the rubber parts of a boot, shoe or rock shoe can wear down with use, and that’s why Scarpa offer a full re-sole service.

Resoling not only extends the lifespan of your Scarpa footwear, it also returns it to it’s very best level of performance.
